La Voix season 5

I am thrilled to be a participant on La Voix season 5 (The Voice Canada). Yesterday was the season premiere. The level of talent this season is high! For my audition, I chose to perform the 60’s classic, Tainted love. A version which honoured the original version by Gloria Jones but had it’s own unique stylings. The fact that 3/4 coaches turned for me was a blessing. But having Pierre Lapointe as a coach is a dream come true! He is an artist I hold in high regard. Lastly, I have to thank my family, friends and fans who continue to support me in all my creative endeavours. This one is bound to be crazy ride! Watch my performance, interviews and follow my progress on tva.ca. If you don't have a t.v. and want to watch the shows as they air, you can download the TVA application.

Ghomeshi & A New Song

I am sharing a demo of a new song in light of Jian Ghomeshi's sexual assault charges being dropped. The song "Askin' for it" addresses tip-of-the-iceberg injustices that we have been experiencing since forever. My heart goes out to the women who testified in the Gohmeshi trial, to anyone who has ever put their life on the line by confronting their attacker, and all the survivors.
